Titel des Vortrags: Improving the Customer Interface - Extending Project specfic Automated CRS Analysis to a Standard-Technique
Level: Fortgeschrittene
Tag und Uhrzeit: 7. März, 14 Uhr 45 bis 15 Uhr 30
Abstract: Customer Requirement Specification (CRS) data exchange in DOORS format has become an implicit standard and is performed by more and more OEMs. While this exchange procedure provides generally some advantages, it allows also the export of large amount of data. More than several 10.000 requirements are often exchanged in one delivery, which is one of the challanges to be adressed in this exchange procedure. A DOORS based infrastructure has been set up in the division Information System Passenger Cars of Siemens AG - Siemens VDO Automotive to manage that challange and provide as much as possible automation. The extension of this procedure from a pilot-like one for a single project to become a real division-wide standard method applied in several projects with different OEMs demands additional support. Aspects of product line management, extended change detection, flexibility in the import and export procedures and other ones have to be covered as well. The presentation illustrates this exchange procedure, its extension to a standard technique and presents real-life experiences based on this approach.
